Upkeep for a pool requires lots of equipment - equipment that needs a place to be stored during the off season. You likely have some toys or floatation devices that need storage as well. Perhaps the most common function people use pool houses for is storing all of this equipment.
Changing Room
Pool houses make convenient areas to change before and after swimming. You can outfit the pool house with seating, shelves and/or hangars to keep your clothes nice while you swim. After swimming, your house won’t get wet as everyone dries off and changes in the pool house before going back inside.
Outdoor Kitchen/Bar

This will make it less of a hassle for you and your guests to get out of the pool when nature calls. You also won’t have to clean up any water that dripped off of the bathroom-goer and onto your house’s floor!
